You can pay in a cheque in a matter of minutes, wherever you happen to be.
Simply log on to your App, long press on the account you’d like to pay your cheque into and select ‘Pay in a cheque’.
If you don’t have the ‘long press’ feature on your phone, you can select an account, then tap the three dots in the top right corner.
Next, select the ‘cheque amount’ box.
You’ll be able to pay in a total of £750 in cheques per day with an individual limit of £500 per cheque.

Simply hold your phone over the cheque and try to keep it within the boxed area on screen. The App will automatically take a picture for you.
Placing your cheque on a dark surface usually makes it easier for your phone to capture your cheque.
When you’re happy that you can clearly see the cheque number, sort code and account number, tap ‘OK’.
Then do the same thing to capture the back of your cheque.
Now that you’ve captured the front and back of your cheque, tap ‘continue’.
Finally, double-check that your details are correct and tap ‘Confirm’.
Remember to keep hold of your cheque until the money has been added to your account.
You can check this by viewing your balance and transactions.
Where a cheque is paid in before 10pm on a working day using the App, the funds will be available by 11:59pm the next working day provided it’s not been returned unpaid.
You can now pay in another cheque if you need to.
Or you can return to your accounts screen by tapping ‘Back to balances’.
And that’s it.
Paying in a cheque with your Mobile App is quick, simple and seriously secure.
