- start your message with ‘I want to complete a Balance Transfer’ and we’ll get the ball rolling.

Going abroad?
first direct credit cards are accepted by over 19 million outlets and 1 million cash machines worldwide. You can withdraw up to £500 per day - but be aware that fees and charges may apply.
You can also use your card to order travel money online. This is classed as a cash advance, so a cash advance fee applies.
You don't have to let us know before you go on your travels, but we may temporarily block your card if we spot any unusual spending on your account.
To avoid any inconvenience, please ensure that we have your up to date telephone number on our records. If you need to update your contact number, just send us a message through our App or on Online Banking.
