Who are we?

We’re not exactly your typical high street bank. For starters, we’ve never actually been on the high street (crazy, right?). But for over 35 years, we’ve been where our customers need us most, helping people manage their money 24/7, 365 days per year, ready to help when real life happens.

Because we think the best kind of banking is one that actually helps its customers.

And we reckon you do too.

We don’t want to blow our own trumpet – mainly because we don’t have one. But we’ve always been there for our customers through the big stuff, the small stuff and even the “I’ve forgotten my PIN again” stuff.

And because of all this, our customers have been kind enough to nominate us for plenty of awards. Spoiler alert – we’ve won plenty of them too.

Being named Which? Banking Brand of the Year 2026 is something we're genuinely proud of. It tells us our customers feel the difference, and that's what this is really about. We'll keep doing what we've always done: being there and making banking feel a bit less like banking.
