first direct launches brand new ‘perks’ programme to reward customer loyalty

first direct customers are now able to head to their fd mobile app and link out to a brand-new platform ‘first direct perks’, as part of the bank’s latest push to reward its customer base.

 

This is part of a broader strategy from first direct to reward customers for their loyalty, including offering preferential rates on loans and saving products.

 

To ensure the bank offers even better perks to its two million customers, first direct has developed new partnerships with a wide range of brands – from discounts and freebies to prize draws, ‘first direct perks’ is a one-stop-shop for a number of rewards.

 

Current offers include 2 for £10 tickets with Cineworld, 15% discount at Bill’s, £50 energy credit for new customers switching to Octopus Energy with an exclusive additional £50 gift voucher for fd customers, a £65 discount with Jet2holidays, and offers with Cuckoo Broadband, with giveaways and prize draws coming next.

The launch of first direct perks follows the news that first direct is the number one customer service brand in the UK, according to an Institute of Customer Service survey, the latest in several accolades won by the bank. first direct is also rated Excellent (4.5/5) on Trustpilot, following more than 29,000 independent customer reviews.
