If you’ve recently applied for a first direct mortgage online and want to change the amount, term, purchase price/ property value or rate, simply follow these steps:
- visit our compare mortgages page
- click on ‘Get started’
- select the type of application you’re making
- you’ll then be able to ‘Amend an existing application’
- from there enter your new details and select ‘View available mortgages’
- you can then choose your mortgage from the results by selecting ‘Full details’
- now follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your change.
By following the above, you skip some of the pages that you already completed in your original application.
