if you're in the market for a mortgage right now and you're not one for the unexpected, how about a fixed rate?

Sorry, owing to unprecedented demand, we have decided to temporarily withdraw offering our mortgages to non customers. We will be back offering great rates to everyone as soon as possible. We will continue to progress all existing mortgage requests from new customers.

You should keep in mind that if rates fall, you could pay more for your mortgage during the fixed rate period than you would on a variable rate mortgage. With all our fixed rate mortgages, if you repay your mortgage during the fixed rate period, you will be charged an early repayment charge.

The amount of any early repayment charge will be displayed on both your Key Facts Illustration and Mortgage Offer, which you will receive should you decide to progress with a mortgage application.

For more details and to book a fixed rate, please call us on 08 456 100 103 if you are already a first direct customer or 0800 48 24 48 if you are new to first direct.

Fixed rate funding is limited and rates can be withdrawn at any time without notice.
