General terms and conditions

1. first direct is not responsible for the content of third party sites. Any contract will be between the third party provider and the customer and first direct will not be a party to it or be liable for any loss that may arise.
2. Offers open to first directory customers who are UK, Isle of Man, Guernsey and Jersey residents (unless stated otherwise in offer restrictions). Offers are not valid for use during Christmas, New Year, Easter or Bank Holiday periods.
3. The voucher entitles the holder to the offer stated on the voucher. All offers are subject to promotional availability and the venue/ retailer/ therapists individual terms and conditions that apply at the time of your booking/ transaction/ session.
4. Age, date and other restrictions may apply, please check the 'restrictions section' when searching through your chosen offer/ venue, prior to your purchase/ booking.
5. The offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other vouchers or promotions offered by the providers selected.
6. The offers are as stated and cannot be used in any other way than that described.
7. One voucher per booking/ reservation/ transaction/ session, per person, per venue/ therapist/ retailer. New bookings/ reservations/ transactions/ sessions only. Only original vouchers will be accepted.
8. Voucher holders are responsible for contacting any venue/ salon/ hotel/ retailer/ therapist direct to make a booking. Please ensure that you contact your chosen venue/ salon/ hotel/ retailer/ therapist in advance to make your booking/ purchase stating that you hold a 'first directory' voucher.
9. Your voucher must be taken with you and handed in at reception on arrival to ensure that the discount is calculated at the special rate. The promoter and The Leapfrog Group Ltd cannot be held responsible for any disagreements that may arise, any extra costs, the suitability or otherwise of participating venue/ salon/ hotel/ retailer/ therapist. Any dispute must be settled direct with the venue/ salon/ hotel/ retailer/ therapist concerned. If you are still not satisfied please get in touch with us via the Customer Care line on 0844 412 7517. 10. The venues/ salons/ hotels/ retailers/ therapists involved in offer provision reserve the right to change tariffs without notice. Always check when making your booking/ purchase.
11. Please note that some participating venues/ salons/ hotels/ retailers/ therapists have alternative offers than those listed, please check offer details on the listings provided within this site.
12. Please print full terms and conditions and keep for your reference at time of claim/ booking/ purchase.
13. All third party offer providers have confirmed their willingness to honour their offer. In the event of unavailability an alternative venue/ offer of equal or greater value will be provided which can be found on this website.
14. Any dispute must be settled direct with offer providers. The promoter and The Leapfrog Group Ltd shall accept no liability for personal loss or injury at/ with a participating venue/ salon/ hotel/ retailer/ therapist as far as permitted by law. accommodation

1. The accommodation voucher entitles the holder to the offer stated on the voucher, this can be either: One night free accommodation - entitles two people sharing a standard twin or double room for one free night's stay at a participating hotel (on a bed and breakfast basis unless otherwise stated) OR free accommodation - entitles two people sharing a standard twin or double room to up to three consecutive nights' free accommodation at a participating hotel. For each night's stay, one breakfast and one evening meal per person will be charged (even if not taken), the room itself is provided free of charge - the combined rate for breakfast and evening meal per person is specified in the website listing OR 2 for 1 accommodation - entitles two people sharing a standard twin or double room for two consecutive nights' accommodation for the price of one at a participating hotel (on a bed and breakfast basis unless otherwise stated) - the rate that applies per couple per night (including breakfast unless otherwise stated) is specified in the listing. This rate is the price that two people pay for two nights. Offer open to customers aged 18+ only.
2. A credit card booking or deposit may be required at some hotels prior to your stay.
3. Single room supplements apply. Any supplementary charges, additional people (more than two), drinks and other extras are not included in the offer. Accounts must be settled in full upon departure.
4. In the unfortunate event of a cancelled booking, by you, it will be at the hotel's discretion to refund any deposit paid. Voucher holders are advised to check the hotel's cancellation policy at the time of reservation.

beauty

1. The beauty voucher entitles the holder to the offer stated on the voucher. This can be either: One free selected beauty treatment at/ with a participating beauty salon/ therapist OR one free 20 minute manicure or a discounted beauty treatment at/ with a participating beauty salon/ therapist.
2. Offer excludes group bookings.
3. Age restrictions may apply - please check the website listing or with the venue direct.

retail

1. The retail voucher entitles the holder to the offer stated on the voucher.
2. Individual retailer terms and conditions apply - please check at time of booking/ purchase.

holiday

1. The holiday voucher entitles the holder to the offer stated on the voucher.
2. Individual tour operator and travel agent terms and conditions apply - please check at time of booking/ purchase.

health and fitness

1. The health and fitness voucher entitles the holder to the offer stated on the voucher. This can be either: The first free introductory telephone session to the 'How to Eat' course with a participating nutrition therapist (standard landline rates apply) OR one hour free life coaching telephone session with a participating life coach (standard landline rates apply) OR one free face to face session with a nutrition therapist OR one free yoga/pilates class at a participating venue OR one free Shiatsu session with a participating practitioner OR one free Tai Chi session with a participating instructor OR two reflexology treatments for the price of one with a participating practitioner OR one free session with a participating personal trainer OR one free hour consultation and 2 hours training for the price of one OR a free hour consultation and session with a registered NRPT personal trainer OR one free day at a participating gym/ health club.
2. Nutrition therapists and life coaches cannot provide a clinical session and do not address specific health conditions. Nutrition therapists provide dietary advice only.
3. To book with a phone based nutrition therapist or life coach you must call 0845 050 2442 (Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm). You will then be contacted within 48 hours to arrange a time for your session; you will be given the phone number of your allocated coach and the address to send your voucher to. You must then post your voucher to arrive before your allocated session time. Then simply call your coach at the agreed appointment time for your session. If either the coach/ therapist has not received your voucher, or you do not call at the allocated session time then you will lose the offer.
4. Some activities may require a certain level of fitness or ability. If you are suffering from any medical conditions or injury, consult your doctor before participating. You may be required to complete a health form.

dining

1. The dining voucher entitles the holder to the offer stated on the voucher. The main offer is: Two main courses for the price of one at a participating restaurant OR two portions of fish and chips for the price of one at a participating fish and chip shop. To qualify for the dining offer, two people must dine together, each ordering a main course. The main course that is of lesser or equal value will be given free of charge.

call costs

1. Calls to 0800 numbers are free from a BT landline.
2. Calls to 0844 and 0845 numbers will cost no more than 5p per minute from a BT landline.
3. Calls to 0871 numbers will cost no more than 10p per minute from a BT landline.
4. Call charges from other companies may vary and you may want to check this with your service provider. Calls may be monitored or recorded for security and training purposes.
