our rates and fees

• 0% p.a. on Purchases for 12 months and 5.9% p.a. on Balance Transfers (excluding HSBC, HFC and M&S Money) for 60 months if you transfer a minimum of £100 from a competitor credit or store card within 2 months of your card account being opened. The rate starts from the date of the first competitor Balance Transfer of £100 or more. The standard variable rate will apply to all Purchases and Balance Transfers if you do not make a Balance Transfer of at least £100 from a competitor credit or store card within 2 months of your card account being opened. No Balance Transfers will be allowed after 2 months of account opening (this promotion is only available to new first direct credit card customers).
• at the end of the 12 month promotional period for Purchases and the 60 month promotional period for Balance Transfers, the rate will revert to the standard rate - currently typical 16.9% APR variable
• there's no annual fee.
